WHAT ARE SOME BEST PRACTICES TO LIMIT MY GROUP'S LIABILITY FROM SERVICES PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVOCATES?
We can't provide legal advice, but we view a group sponsor's relationship to Welfie Network independent financial advocates similar to that of a healthcare provider providing service to a group health insurance enrollee.
You may also wish to consider having a policy of not recommending advocates in any way to your group & let them make their own choice based on their own research - similar to how they select their own healthcare providers.

Our network of affordable independently owned & operated financial advocates is one of our biggest differentiating factors and we also hope a significant driver for improving financial wellness.
Objective and judgement-free financial advocacy can be used for many areas that promote improved financial wellness including education, planning, strategy review, ideas, accountability, or direction & help when stuck, uncomfortable, or navigating a tough period of crisis & change where life & money meet.
All Welfie Network advocates, at a minimum, are not permitted to have major conflicts (e.g. selling other products) & provide a Welfie+ deep-discount for their services packages - two of which must be available for $0 & under $30 /MO respectively. All Welfie Network independent financial advocates are required to meet the Welfie advocate standards & periodically attest to their on-going compliance.
Any reported violations of these standards are investigated &, if not satisfactorily resolved, will likely cause the removal of an advocate from the Welfie Network.
These standards address areas such as competency, experience, objectivity, compassion, affordability, & availability.

WILL THE FINANCIAL ADVOCATE CHANGE ON MY PARTICIPANTS OR WILL THEY FORM A BOND WITH THE SAME PERSON?
We believe that consistency is more likely to form a special bond between advocate & client.
Therefore, financial advocacy is generally performed by the same financial advocate unless the participant decides to initiate a switch.
All financial advocates also own & operate their practices so they are more likely to not quit to work for a competitor and personally care deeper about successful client outcomes - both wins for participants.
